In order to explore new possibilities for future cooperation and development between China and Russia in various fields, the International Conference on "China Russia strategic cooperation in the new era: key areas and potential" was held on December 10 in a combination of online and offline. The conference was hosted by the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and hosted by the Institute of higher studies of Sino Russian relations of the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the international exchange and Cooperation Office of the University of the Chinese Academy of social sciences. Wang Weiguang, member of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference and former president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, pointed out that China and Russia share the same fundamental interests and strategic consensus on their journey to achieve the goal of becoming a powerful country, and have a strong desire for long-term peaceful coexistence.
Kortunov, executive chairman of the Russian International Affairs Committee, said that the economies of China and Russia are complementary, and Russia and China should strengthen strategic cooperation in economy, science and technology in the future.
At this international conference, Chinese and Russian experts and scholars jointly discussed the key areas of China Russia strategic cooperation in the new era and other important issues in China Russia relations through the combination of online and offline, so as to make some contributions to promoting the academic research of China Russia relations.
